About

Welcome to A linden tree - a blog with stories and life lessons from our Norwegian farm, where our linden tree stands tall in the farmyard, rooted in tradition, blooming with insights.

My name is Ingrid, and I am deeply passionate about creating positive societal change through strategic leadership, innovative projects and context awareness. Throughout my career, I have consistently focused on improving and developing organizations and communities by fostering debate, engagement, and understanding, hence development and growth. My background spans music, museum curation, film production, theatre management and hands-on historical experiences, each role emphasizing the importance of cultural heritage, artistic expressions and social responsibility.

As the founder of Trondheim Vikinglag and Hands on History AS, I have facilitated transformative experiences in the natural landscapes of Trollheimen, connecting people with their historical roots and encouraging self-reflection. My work in film production has brought attention to critical societal issues, influencing policy changes and sparking global discussions. Last, but not least music has been an important part of my life. I have been performing, composing and releasing music since 2007, with various bands such as Orpheus (2009), 20Bones (2007, 2009), Heilung and Songleikr.

In 2018 me and my husband bought our dream home, a Norwegian farm with buildings dating back to the 1830s. Since then we have spent our time, energy and money on making the farm a safe, balanced space that feels like home. We have three children, horses, chickens, cats and some other animals. On the farm we have a BlackBox studio where we facilitate workshops and other events, both for locals, youth and for international events.
